If that is the case, is there any way to discern instance creatures, elites and rares so i dont change them?

Rank colum in creature_template (normal, elite and so on). rank 0 being normal mob

are the tables creature and creature_template connected in any way? so i can pull the rank for a query and change the spawntimesecs in *creature*

Id say ID 1 in creature refers to the creature_template ID

yeah, i digged a little and i think that's it. ran a simple query to change the spawntimesecs based on the rank grabbed from creature_template thanks
