They also made it so you *have* to log in with a Microsoft account on Windows 11, but you can semi-easily get around that by creating the drive with Rufus and then unplugging the network when you install it (stupid).

Anyway. I tested a number of different games on Steam and they all close instantly but WoW 3.3.5, 2.4.3 and 1.12.1 all take 5-6 seconds to close. I tried high priority, running in Windows 7 and 8 compatibility with no change. It just is what it is and as long as it's just on exit it doesn't matter all that much.
