Hrmm i still cant figure out what could be causing this.. The bosses in alterac valley on my server keep instantly resetting on aggro like this.

It does. I was told the other one was the "fixed" version, but I guess they were wrong

I don't really know then. I killed that one earlier today without issues. The only things I know that causes that kind of thing are gm on or gm visible off so I'm afraid I can't be of more help.
