I ran into a couple other issues (not removing -master or -stable from the end of mod-autobalance) but I'm back to having a worldserver.exe

Willing to hear what people tell you and learn from the mistakes is the best way to start Smile many people that use AC are not tech savy and have a hard time setting their first AC server, but when they do it with or without help, with time they can do more things with it (not refering to code) but e.g changing database values or finding modules that fit their play style.

I imagine using SQL scripts that were last updated 1 year+ ago is risky? Like https://www.azerothcore.org/catalogue.ht.../806321898

I wouldn't call them risky. It depends a lot on what they do. That one can't "go bad" unless those columns are renamed in the core

That one should be fine in the context wont give you errors as those columns haven't been changed

That's probably a better version of what I was going to use for portals. I'll try that one out.
