Doing it manually like you did is by far preferable anyway as if you leave a standalone db execute in a Lua file, it is re-executed on every script load (like startup or eluna reloads), causing (very minimal) unnecessary db load. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have tons of them but it's generally good practice to not run db executes/queries like thst
