Hey good evening all
Is there any way to rename an account? Or if not, transfer a character to another account?

I'm just following the [AzerothCore Windows Installation](https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/windows...stallation) guide, which states: 'It is recommended to compile the core with at least the RelWithDebInfo configuration to get proper crash logs.'

For renaming a character you change it on the database (not recommended) or you can give it a flag for a rename you can check the [wiki](https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/characters#atlogin)

If you just want to transfer it to another account change `account` number to that account in characters

Also, after successful compilation, the CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX folder is empty, and the compiled binaries are indeed in the C:\Build\bin\RelWithDebInfo.

Hey! So I'm trying to set my server to be public, I'm a relatively technical user, but I think I just need to have a second set of eyes quickly check my config to see if I'm not going crazy. Issue I'm having is when I set the IP of the server to my public IP, neither me nor my friend can connect. I have port forwarded and he can do "Test-Netconnection" on the public IP and ports that I opened and get a success, so that leads me to believe that it should be working, so I must have something wrong in either a DB somewhere, or a setting I've overlooked.

I've fixed my ability to connect, but my friend is still unable to, he just disconnects automatically when he tries to connect to the realm (which he sees in the realmlist)

Could it be you have the realmlist table in acore_auth set to connect to your local IP or to localhost? Then your friend can't connect.
