The standard is 1 minute for normal NPCs, 5 minutes for rares, elites and rare elites, and 1 hour for world bosses. Are you using AOE loot perhaps? Or have you tinkered with your Corpse.Decay worldserver conf settings?

Sorry I misread, so with .learn you teach yourself the associated spell but you also need .setskill <skillID> <level> <max>, find the skill ID using .lookup skill <name>

(and .learn doesn't work with skill ID, it works with spell IDs)

Could be many reasons, for example a firewall issue or misaligned realm type/locale in DB versus worldserver conf. Normally it's a connectivity thing but could be good to check the realm type too as I fumbled that once

You can revert to previous commits. Most repos don't use a release system because commits serve the same purpose

Yeah I'm thinking I've fumbled something somewhere, I know the server works when I set it all to its local IP. It's just trying to work out where I've screwed it up as I'm not the best with linux, always been a Windows guy.

Do the worldserver logs mention the connection hitting it and then getting disconnected?

If you're new to linux, make sure to double check your ip tables. And remove UFW if you're like me and think one firewall is enough haha

I'll give this a try after work, as I feel like I'm close to it working, I'm just missing something stupid
