You could add anything to the server, the more tricky question is what the client can do.

As far as i recall, there are no bnet features available in the 3.3.5a client. If you use an email, it'll just try and download a patch from a dead URL and fail.

The battle.net part of the game isn't implemented though so I imagine it would take quite a bit of work to get it working.
With Eluna and AIO I'm sure you could implement something with minimal or maybe no client changes/addons required.
