Hi all. I'd like to host a server and play with a few friends. Ideally I want a bot system that allows queueing into a BG, and have it fill up with bots, and I want to be able to spawn bots as party members for Dungeons. No random bots running around (I'd play classic if I would like that). Is this possible with azerothcore?

Yes, sounds to me like you want azerothcore with mod-playerbots and 0 random bots initialized. Then you can spawn bots on demand. Not sure if inactive bots will queue BGs to have them pop but you can just invite bots into two groups, side 1 vs side 2, and then queue both groups I imagine

Right, thank you. Do you happen to know if these bots are at least decent to run leveling dungeons with? I wasn't very impressed with the partybots of vmangos

They excel if you help them out with simple commands to tell them to disengage (flee), attack your target (just attack I guess) and follow you on demand (follow)

There's a wiki on how to use them, with pretty cool commands, plus an addon to help with composing your groups and controlling the bots

Hello all. Wonder whether you can help me with updating my server please? I used the git pull command and then moved to the build directory and then make -j 6. I then get an error "fatal error: use of undeclared identifier 'mysql_ssl_mode'; did you mean 'mysql_ssl_set'?"
