Would be cool if we had a guide section and if someone took time, i know all developers are busy maintaining this core. Really great project you guys do

What type of customizations are you interested in? It's not really possible to make a catch-all guide but most likely guides already exist for whatever you're interested in. We can help point you in the right direction if you know what you want

For example some basic stuff like, add a custom npc, you know basic stuff where to change hearthstone cd, change spawn, change character creation so you logon specific lvl and items etc

Add custom NPC: Create new lines in creature_template and creature_template_model then .npc add <new entry> (the <> aren't part of the command, they're placeholders. Most cache interactions (such as spawning NPCs) are described here https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/gm-commands
