To make all bosses in the game of any instance have a 100% drop rate for a custom item, should I write boss by boss drop that item or is there a way to make it less tedious?

The easiest way that i know since all the instance bosses dont have the same "rank" depending on their expansion. List the IDs of bosses you want want to add an item and the specific chance.

delete from tableName where uniqueIdentifer in (id1, ... id10);

insert into lootTableName (column1, 2, ... 6) values
(11520, 1179, 0, 4, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 'Taragaman the Hungerer - Ice Cold Milk'),
...
...
(11519, 5574, 0, 0.1, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 'Bazzalan - White Leather Bag');

So I can say, for example, that all classic dungeon bosses have that extra item (apart from the normal loot) that drops, for example, 1, and then on the other hand say that all classic raids can drop that item x5 for each boss. And so with the rest of the expansions in the same way?

If you just run queries it's the easiest way without needing to code how to add X item to a creature
