Interesting. I don't recall any items having a hidden equip cooldown on their `equip:` effects in retail vanilla->wotlk. Just their `use:` effects. But it might be one of those things you don't notice until you know to look for it

I know a lot of people swore by shield-twisting for AoE pally, which is rendered pointless by this interaction
