When we had the previous search system (was active for a few months) it made me loading pages specially on phones extremely slowly (because you were loading the full index of the pages before searching)

But searching worked much better. But guides would be under guides anyways. You've to specify what are you trying search or achieve with "damage" (not in the wiki, I'm asking to know)
