You always want to be able to drop your DB and start fresh.
To achive this, you never just change things in your DB. You always also save your changes to sql files, so you can re-run your changes at any time.

Could you elaborate on this a little bit? I'm not sure I understand exactly what this means or the benefits of this method. I'm still very new to all of this, so any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated.
