Map file 'C:\Users\acore\Desktop\Important\WoWstuff\3.3.5AzerothCore\Build\bin\RelWithDebInfo\Data/maps/0004331.map': does not exist!```
I went into the maps folder and map 0004331.map is there, any idea why its saying its not?

do the slashes matter in the file directory path? i just double checked and it looks like it should be: C:\Users\Co\Desktop\Important\WoWstuff\3.3.5AzerothCore\Build\bin\RelWithDebInfo\Data\maps
where for some reason after data it swapped the slashes. Not sure where to change it to read the correct path.

the guide should probably be updated then to reflect the fix, if this has been brought up. thank you though.

the guide still tells you to create a data folder within bin to extract maps and whatnot into. i used the windows classic guide.

The guide tells you to create a folder and extract the zip contents to it. And change the DataDir in the config.
It's assumed you some basic knowledge of how directories / paths work.
Could it be added the same path i gave you? maybe, but that might cause doubts to others. Specially that you're not limited to have the folder at the same level to my knowledge, while the "DataDir" is set correctly it could even be in your desktop (dont do this, was just an example)

your datadir simply being ".\Data" did work for me, but chances of someone finding it in a random text channel on discord "like myself" is extremely frustrating... Thanks for the fix, but this should be in a more visible way especially if its working for 90/100 people who download the azeroth core
