I just went through the process of setting up the server core and all that on my local machine. I am able to log in and make a character and do quests, but I can't get other players into the game. I have made accounts for them, and I changed the server i.d. to my public i.p. address, and i opened my ports to the auth and world servers. Any idea what is wrong and why the player isn't able to connect?

Also, where can i find the actual spells and talents inside Keira? I have the server up and running, but I am mucking around in Keira to try and find them, but I can't. I'm able to find creatures and items, but not spells or talents.

Open your servers and use a port check website to make sure the ports are open

Spells/talents are held in client's DBC files (the data.zip step in the install guide) which Keira doesn't read

oof, alrighty well that certainly puts a damper in my plan.
What's the most efficient way to adjust talents and spells for the classes?

Make use of either the `spell_dbc` table or SpellInfoCorrections.cpp or whatever it is to override what's in the client tables

Depending on the change, it might not reflect too well on the client's end of things if they don't get it changed as well

just used a port checker website and confirmed that ports 8085 and 3724 are both open. Any other ideas? Do the players need to open them also, or just me?

how would I go about doing that? I'm entirely new to the private server game, just been putting it all to work in the past 4 hours or so.

Just you. In that case I think they're doing something wrong though, turning on logging for the auth server would show their login attempts if they're making it that far
