how do you update the sql database other than running authserver and worldserver? I'm getting a crash when I try to run update sql scripts for a module: Table 'acore_world.creature_template_model' doesn't exist

You need to fix the query, so the worldserver can proceed with updating. If it is caused by a module, you might need to run SQL manually.

I get that same error if I try to run the update sql statement manually. It is from a module, but I have the latest stable build of it. Just strange that I seem to be missing a table

There was an update adding that table. Try updating without the module, then add it back.
