I restarted the server and reaccepted the quest and I was able to get it to spawn.

If he was cc'd (charmed) he doesn't drop the flag that was the issue

Just remove `.dist` of your world and auth configs.

now onto the mysql part... mainly I admit I am not SURE what to look for for the log in info

There was a similiar issue recently, two birds only would use `swoop` if they were charmed... imagine hibernatign them and getting swooped

You do not or shouldnt change any information about the database connection in your config files since you dont have a reason to change them

Might be an issue with Verog the Dervish as well I think only 1 npc spawns with with summon flag and so if u keep killing the same mobs he will never spawn
