I think I'm missing a detail: Right-click ALL_BUILD in the Solution Explorer on the right sidebar and select Clean.

Programming frustation is more wonder why something is working or not. In your case the unlucky at least with github repo cloning and majority of computer newbie questions it makes it harder than it is.

For sure. I do think there's a bit of a 'language barrier' at times with some terminology but I'm being more careful about that now
