I found Cmake, my PC just couldnt find it when I searched for it using the Start Menu. I finally found a link to it on my desktop that opened it

Well, I feel silly, but posting here incase anybody else searches with a similar problem: I was updating the readme.md file in .github and not the readme.md in the root directory. Looks like the readme shows up on the site perfectly now. Thanks again to everyone that answered my questions here these past few weeks!

the only thing I can think of is that after extracting, I put it into the AzerothCore folder wrong, or the zip wasnt going to work in the first place

Its impossible to do it wrong. Right click - Extract All. Then when that's done I moved it to AzerothCore.
