hey guys anyone know how to fix an issue where i can connect to my server on local network but cant connect remotly to the world server. auth server works fine remotly lets me log in but when i try to load the realm it does not load jsut disconnects?

You must set the external worldserver ip / domain in the realmlist table in the database

hmm can this be set as 2 different ips or just 1? for example i want to access it from my local net but also from the public net

Usually using external ip from internal net should work fine if your router supports looping it back

if anyone has this issue, you most likely have an altered wow.exe and you need a clean one. kinda annoying to find now

No, it's because you haven't applied the unsig patch to the .exe but are trying to modify interface files that are in the MPQ archives
