the quest ID's for these 2 chains are incorrect in the database in the first place which is what the issue was originally opened up for. I am not the original issue opener

Usually it's just removing the prev quest from the addon either from the quest that shouldn't have bread crumb or it's the bread crumb quest itself that has their next.
Check the github link you can see the changes of both examples
