I did get all new devices before I started the server so i had to start from scratch with port fowarding ect but its just hanging excessively today

Auth shouldn't be slow, authentication in game is depended on both auth and worldserver running (auth +realm) , worldserver tends to be slower with more changes, modules and computer specs

ok its just hanging on connected at the character select screen. All the world server shows is bot activity, ex teleport and death
