In your windows machine try `ipconfig /flushdns` and see if it works (with the client closed)

The worldserver? I'm not sure whats the command, I use it on windows i just do CTRL+C

You could always double check the realmlist IPs in your database to see if they match the linux's machine IP. (dont recall if 127.0.0.1 for all pcs in the network, i always use the machine's local ip)
