can i edit a value in the database to make the rounds of "strans of the ancients" longer than 10 minutes, or does that require a full recompile?

roundlength is defined in BattlegroundSA.cpp, so it requires a compile
it does not require a full recompile though, so it should be fast

for me a recompile is a full recompile, since i run a repack lol

same goes for a random source repo for a good extent.

It's your system, you're free to do however you please. But the comparsion of an repo maintained by dozens and with daily commits doesn't stand the comparison with an executable
