Well since the other services are reachable I was assuming the port shouldn't be the problem.

This is the realmlist table:
```
+----+-------------+----------------+--------------+-----------------+------+------+------+----------+----------------------+------------+-----------+
| id | name | address | localAddress | localSubnetMask | port | icon | flag | timezone | allowedSecurityLevel | population | gamebuild |
+----+-------------+----------------+--------------+-----------------+------+------+------+----------+----------------------+------------+-----------+
| 1 | AzerothCore | 192.168.178.39 | 127.0.0.1 | 255.255.0.0 | 8085 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 12340 |
+----+-------------+----------------+--------------+-----------------+------+------+------+----------+----------------------+------------+-----------+
```
I changed the subnet mask from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0 but It didn't change anything.

Looks alright, if the other computer has 192.168.x.x too
What's the exact error you see?

This is the same error I get when I enter an address that doesn't exist for example.

You've changed the realmlist.wtf file?
Not some realmlist entry in config.wtf?
And it stayed and did not revert after you ran wow.exe?

I've changed the realmlist in data/enGB.
It doesn't change after running the wow.exe
And when I enter `set realmlist 127.0.0.1` it works with my local server. However I want to get rid of the local server and use the remote server on `192.168.178.39`

did you try using third-party virtual networks?

I had same problem once

got ZeroTier installed for a virtual net, worked perfectly

It's possible for it to be a network problem even though I really can't imagine it right now.
I guess I'll have to dig deeper and take a look at the network packages with wireshark.
I could try a virtual network but I want to get it working with my local network since it works with everything else.
I can connect to the mysql database for example and the other ~10 services I have on that computer.
