For Linux Ubuntu server, I'm looking for a little direction on using Timeshift to backup all directories used by Azerothcore. Has anyone else already done something along these lines?

Most of the numbers in the config file are 1 for normal. If you want to double a thing it's 2. If you want half of a thing it's 0.5. You can also use 1.25 or 0.75. It's flexible.

On the individual progression module, I sadly don't know how much they increased the drop rate compared to the blizzlike vanilla drops. For example, gnolls drop a common hammer at 6% drop chance. I killed like 20 of those and had like 7 of these hammers which is insane.
I just can't tell if I should half the drop rate or how much to cut it since I don't know the drop chance amount they increased it to

I don't know that module, but ir's easy to play with in the worldserver config. If you are getting way too much change it in the config from 1 to 0.5. If that's too low, change it to 0.69 if you like. You just need to stop and start your servers again.
