to be honest, there is ambiguous case because i haven't used optional settings in that module, but mana_cost.sql is not 'optional', that's why i didn't pay enough attention to "Optional Data Files" paragraph

The Data which is the updated files for your client are optinal. Some people would prefer not chaging their client. Nor can the module enforce it.

The stats that are changed are done on the module / server side, because you're having a progressive experience to match the expansion/tier/different patches like back in the day

i agree, it does not broke your game, just leads to some misunderstanding especially when you try to cast spell and you have enough mana for that(as your client shows you) but server callback "Not enough mana"
