Hello. It is my first time server using. Could you help me? for example i want to add new item, so i add new entry to item_template table(i.e. entry=90001), and after i use ".reload item_template" -> ".additem 90001", server can not spawn item to me(does it mean that i can not modify DB "on fly"?). So i restarted server and then spawning item is succesful but icon of 'Question mark' appears in bag, but if i equip that item in became OK in character window. What i do wrong?

You can't add new items without modifying the DBC files, changes that the client also needs to have.

You can't change the icon of the item without having to add those changes to the client but you can use an existing item, change the name, quality, description and so on, yes. I don't know how it works, I've never added custom items so I don't know where to start with that.

Creatures and objects you can change however you like. Spells depend on if the client needs to know about it or not, but I don't know what the limits are on those either. I've never even considered adding a new spell - just modified existing ones.

What ports do i need to open the server ? Cause i have 8085, 3724 and 3306, but when i want to open auth server, it says it cant be accesed
