If not for the challenge, then for the desire to remain within blizzlike mechanics wherever possible. I know I can just use GM commands, but I want to learn the spells in natural progression, allowing the trainers to show me new stuff as it becomes appropriate in the normal means of progressing

When I set out on this particular mission I thought it was going to be a simple DB edit, or a straightforward source code hack, but it's way more involved than that
