Instead of aiming for the speed how you can it, if you based on an existing module, if it ever was to be implemented would be easier and progressive system would exist from TBC to 3.0 as an example

the current mods' sql repo is enabling something from 2.4, while 3.0 should disable something from 3.3

I've spent ages working on 3.0 through 3.3.5, and added 1.1 to 2.4 after the fact, and it's not fast work. I've spent weeks if not months researching, writing both C++ and SQL code, fixing issues that occur from what I've changed, and I'm still not anywhere near complete for WotLK.
