Anyone know where the .pdump file is saved and where it needs to be put to load it via p.dump load? I want to switch a character from my server to my friends server. Modules, conf-files are all identical. He uses MariaDB and I use MySQL, is that a problem?

Next to worldserver. The dumps are just SQL queries so it *should* work transfering from MariaDB to MySQL but there are no guarantees.
