You could turn on packet logging on the server's end and see if the client is actually making a request and see what/if the server is responding with to be sure it's not entirely on the client

rats... yeah I might have to look into this, I'm convinced the server is modified fine but the fact that the API calls appear to be getting bad responses from server made me question that. But I'm convinced the client is doing something shady somewhere and intercepting it
