In the same vein, should i also move the sql files to the azerothcore `/custom/db_world` or wherever the sql files in the module say they go? Or are they fine where they are unless specified in the readme?

Complety fine, I never did it in Linux but I'm pretty sure the base of the source it's the same structure

To my knowledge you don't have to touch the sql files, if not mistaken when you run world it should do all the checkes for sql updates
