It seems strange that they would suddenly whack a tower top in the middle of that wall just in time for flying and completely break the visuals for every new player flying in and out of Stormwind. I'm really very suspicious , you can see why surely?

From what i saw going back to the old version (to show you screenshots), probably to increase the view distance (and reduce the render blockers) they might have remove that one up there that was part of a bigger area (but i cant be sure im not going to dig on the world files just to check)
