I would like to clarify one thing:
- We still would like (ideally) that people to contribute back to the project, following the open-source philosophy behind projects such as AC/TC/MaNGOS/etc...
The main reasons why we are doing this change, as explained in our announcement, are:
1) We technically could not make this change back then, that was a mistake I take full responsibility for
2) AGPL technically prevented GPLv2 projects from importing code to AC, and this goes **against** the cross-project collaboration spirit that we want to support.
