Still trying to crack this classless problem. My goal is to make trainers from other classes not care that I'm not their class and train me their cross-class skills anyway as if I was one of them. I made some progress, tried hacking the code that checks whether I'm the right class when interacting with a cross-class trainer but that made all trainers reject me including my own Surely someone has tried to tackle this problem before. I know I can just use .learn to pick up the skills but I want to be able to do this in game without a GM account. Anybody got any headstart on this problem?

If I actually wanted to do that I'd probably create a new trainer and add all class spells to it (they are references so fairly easy). Sounds a lot simpler than changing the core to circumvent the class check.

Circumventing the class check seemed straightforward (commented one line). The hard part was combing the code to find it.

I haven't created a new trainer before. Wouldn't I still need to be the same class as the trainer or he won't train me?

I feel like if I can find the code that determines whether or not to show the "Train me" gossip option, that'll be my big break.

An NPC can be a trainer without being specifically for a class.

Can I remove the specific class from existing stock standard trainers so they won't reject me?

I imagine that'd just be a DB edit but I wouldn't know where to look. Does that sound possible?
