yes, you should be able to export and import your db
but who knows if the repack did changes to the db

Hmm, good thought, any idea how I'd find out? And if there were cahnges, how would that mess things up?

I don't know of any automated ways to compare db structures

changes they made can lead from dead data (they added a table/column) to missing data that leads to crashes (they deleted)

Got it, I plan to make a Cata server after my WOTLK since only me and a few friends use it, so I'll just do that from scratch and figure that out later then, thanks for all the info!
