I would assume so, I am as mentioned earlier very new to this. Some phrases and such do pass me by as I am literally self taught from YT and you guys here haha.

The window that shows Ping MySQL is your "Auth" is the one that cares part of authcating the user (login). and the realms

the other one is the world, so basically anything else.

The Auth one should not give you an error (the ping mysql it means has been opened with no movement recently to my knowledge). And when is ready should tell you Added realm "whaterver name you named it" at whaterver IP or Domain

So far it should be good.

World if nothing goes bad, opens and should end up with the events, calendar, guild stuff, auction house etc...

To connect to your database (outside) of your network to my knowledge you've to

1) Allow the connection in the server itself

2) May or not need to port-foward (aka allow you to connect/access it via a specific number called port)

3) Using the servers default (if you havent created your own username and password to access the database. Note that if you do access the database for the first time with all the preivilenges, when you created all the AC stuff, you should have a azerothcore user and password, change the password and use that instead (keeping in mind that you will have to chance the password in the in the auth and world config

(authserver.conf) as the example if you changed the password, for this purpose they are default (ip, port, username, password, database, table)
