i mean i have the server workign beautifully, I just cant isntall any modules that require sql changes because im an idot and cant figure it out

But you have to consider AzerothCore. The majority of users use Debian or Ubuntu (when it comes to Linux). That's the mainstream and what those who develop AzerothCore use if they're using Linux. There's absolutely no reason to consider the minority when making decisions, especially since the majority (if not close to *all*) of the main developers use MySQL.
