I was NOT blessed by the RNG on that in retail. It took me two years and according to fishing buddy, about 17,000 casts...
(I used a bot in year 2 )

I mean, any fishing in Northrend has the same drop rate for it... Crystalsong forest is just In my opinion the best place to farm it because of the route and amount of pools avalable

Ive never played with fishing loot tables but the drop rate should be adjustable
