Relwithdebinfo is a little slower and uses a little more memory, but it's not much. It's a lot closer to release than debug

For internal use rel with deb info is fine, if it was an actually commercial or distributed program where you don't want the end users to have access to debug symbols you'd always use release

The reason it's slower is because it can't be as aggressive with optimization during compiling, since it needs to retain a lot of information in the binary for debugging to work properly
