you probably want to make sure the sessions are properly closing. My stop script is like:
worldserver_session="world-session"
echo "Saving..."
tmux send-keys -t $worldserver_session "saveall" C-m;
echo "Waiting..."
tmux send-keys -t $worldserver_session "server shutdown 30" C-m;
sleep 40s
echo "Stopping..."
tmux kill-server;
