It is done the fast and easy way for character->creature swaps, so it has a side effect of turning some other people into cats too, including those on motorcycles, mounts, etc.
Personally I find it amusing. Your mileage may vary.
Your character will appear wrong (a white cat shape) on the character select game but as the intended blue cat in the actual game.

Thanks. Well, you could do that in 15 minutes.
I just used the method of a guide by reflex0rzor at

You could skip the first steps in it, because I happened to save the following in a file and copy paste it here from when I did it:
Set:
field1 = 1231
field3 = 0
field6 = DruidCatSkinDarkBlue
field7 = DruidCatSkinDarkBlue
You'll need 2 programs to do the guide. (It references a third, a model viewer, but that one isn't really needed if you already know what model you're aiming for).
1) MyWarcraftStudio for opening the MPQ is here:
MyWarCraftStudio.rar
2) A DBC editor is in the corresponding directory within the file here:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
