Quote:This is a project I was working on for a while, The patch changes the warlock's Felguard pet into Lady Sacrolash of SWP. I did not simply model swap, so other felguards in the game should remain unaffected.

I edited the CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc for DisplayID 14255, added a new CreatureModelData.dbc ID specifically for the pet (Leaving the original for the other felguards), added a new CreatureSoundData.dbc ID for it as well, created 5 new SoundEntries.dbc IDs, and tied up some other loose ends. Please give feedback on this mod's impact on other felguards, as well as any suggestions for changes.

No, you cannot assign it new weapons or a shield - sorry.

If leaving feedback on it's impact, please make sure all other mods are disabled to be sure that it isn't another mod.

Quote:Thanks...Normally it's cleaner, and I generally have better buttons...but some settings got wiped in an accident, and I have yet to restore them.

Quote: Just a question, is that displayID for a 'pet' Felguard, applicable for say, if I wanted to change how a pet wolf looks like while not affecting any other creatures (in this case, the mount wolves too) if I did a model change.

It's prolly more specific for warlocks since they have the spell for summoning the pet, but I'm just curious.

You are correct. The server uses the ID for the original pet, and operates on it, i.e. reduces size. You could find a pet in a area with an exclusive modeled beast, tame it, then model edit the beast, and hope not to see it again in the wild.
