Looking at the SQL database and at the DBC files i get :
creature : 10903 model ids
creature_template : 19628 model ids
creature_model_info : 23771 model ids
creaturedisplayinfo : 57980 model ids
the creaturedisplayinfo.dbc indicates 57980 different creatures existing in wow, but impossible to find more information in the SQL database.
I am looking where i can get the names of all the creatures, it seems that "creature_template" is incomplete concerning names.
Anybody knows where are the missing names ?

A lot of the models defined in the DBC are even marked as UNUSED in some of the model names.
Also; SQL DBs are hardly 100% accurate. None of them claim to be, and most (all) are missing creature spawns.

wowhead : 21160 npcs
wowdb : 21818 npcs
allakhazam : 23633 npcs
if anybody knows more complete npc databases, please feel free to post.
