Edit: Also would doing this on a legit copy of WoW be allowable?

4. make a new MPQ archive that you replace with a SoundCache-patch-xxxxx.MPQ file that is in your WoW>data>cache directory (name it SoundCache-patch-xxxxx.MPQ) (with x being a selection of numbers such as SoundCache-patch-13329.MPQ or others)

5. test the patch, and if it is not loading then the soundcache might have overwritten itself. try with other soundcache files in the same directory and remember to keep a copy of the dark iron skin MPQ if it gets overwritten so you dont have to start from step 4.

Now I got Landik's MPQ editor and go File > Open MPQ (with options?), then I navigate to my Warcraft Data folder. In here there are alot of MPQs and I am not sure which one I need to look for.

So once I know were to look for the BLP files, do I use Warcraft Model Viewer to match the numbers so that I know which skin I am looking for? On WC Model Viewer my current skin color is 8/25 and the dark iron is 9/25. However there is only 1 model for the dark iron face.

Next on step 4 you lost me again. Do I use Landik's to make a new MPQ archive? And if so could I get a little more step by step of what I actually do here?.

Finally you say to Test the patch? I know I must sound like a HUGE noob (I really am) but I really do appreciate you guys taking the time to break it down for me.
