[Archive] Get .MPQ-models to work?
Quote: Hello,
First of all I'd like to say that i'm sorry if there's already a thread about this, but I simply haven't found any.
I have downloaded a few patch-#.MPQ files and I don't get them to work. Do I need any software for them to work? I upload them to my World of Warcraft\Data folder and then start WoW, but they won't apply. The ones i'm using are a model swap of the druid's cat and bearform. I wanted them to be like an old Worgen. I downloaded right .MPQ-files from this forum but they just won't work.
I remember using some software a few years back, but I forgot about the name and also I used to use a catform > worgen model in TBC, but then I didn't need a software for it to work, so I'm pretty left in the dark here.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
