He had another thread for this but I think it got deleted.
As for making it work you must put it into the Data folder.
Ex:
World of Warcraft\Data\
The other thing to make WoW find it is you must use a patched Wow.exe, which you can always find the latest version in the thread [Patch]SIG & MD5 protection remover.
The current version from this post is 5.0.5.16135. Edit: See signature for link to latest version post.
For the original music you can download Sound.zip(Removed file) and extract the Sound folder into the Data folder. Here is the full structure.
Ex:
World of Warcraft\Data\Sound\Music\Pandaria\MUS_50_HeartofPandaria_01.mp3
Of course you can use your own mp3 file if you want but you will need to place it and name it in this location in order to make it work.
I got my mp3 file directly from sound.MPQ which is found in the directory, Sound\Music\GlueScreenMusic\.
Hope this helps. =)
Edit: Forgot to mention the question about removing it while updating. You do not need to remove it. When you update the new Wow.exe will ignore it.
Also for the warning, you might get a streaming error for a MPQ file.

Quote: Jh16, thank you very much for the infos! +rep for u and yuna ofc.
I've just setup all here and it's working flawless!
Yunalol22 I must ask... is there any chance that you do this swap login screen using the Burning Crusade one?
That for me would be even more nostalgic than Classic, since, for me, those were the real gold days of WoW.
Thank you very much for sharing your work my friend!

Quote: Well tried myself a couple of times based on the file you uploaded... I found BC .m2 and .skin files but couldn't manage to make it work inside the MPQ.
Tried also with that awesome Worgen screen (we used to have it here in the model section area) same results...
Guess I'll have to count on you Yuna to do it lol.
Edit:
Just tried to mess with the MPQ from this guy here and update it to Pandaria... Wasn't successful... Maybe someone has more luck than me.

Ya I think the files are too out of date in order for them to work for Pandaria. It is unfortunate that blizzard doesn't have the login screen for BC in the MPQ file. Because you can find the original, wrath, and a few catas along with the current login screen in that MPQ file.
