Suggestions on how to actually get help:
  • name the exact issue, e.g. by providing a error log

  • tell exactly what you did, step by step

  • show people what the files actually are, e.g. upload the files

  • detail on why you think you did everything right

  • tell what you have checked already

  • no error log, client freezes and disconnects me with "Streaming error" lua dialog

  • replaced 6as_ashran_collision01.wmo (and geosets) with kultiras wmo from BFA (no conversion applied)

  • files are from bfa sandbox, no conversion was made, added to 7.1.0 client directory

  • i am not sure if 8.0.1/7.3.5 wmos have different format than 7.1.0

  • i checked if it was the wmo in particular but it doesnt seem to work with any other wmo
im gonna try with m2 now and see if its only with wmos

EDIT: m2 just is invisible. messed around in hex editour .. no luck . I can`t figure this out ....

We have an ongoing research on this on the arctium discord. Problem with this is the current bfa models dont even work on previous bfa patch. So they probably made some drastic changes. I dont think placing models in the folder will work though. There have been alot of changes between 7.1 and 7.3.5.

Damn blizzard is such fucks. Why must they always change everything slowly and not make 1 drastic change at once.

Invisible model in game means you fucked up the md21 chunk with its m2oldsize 4 bytes most of the time.

Do as i wrote it in my legion tutorial.

Only thing that changed between 7.1 and 7.3.5 m2 are chunk order and modelname offset in the m2 and some skel model which you can t edit right now. Despite that. Everything s the same
